Wild Rice and Pacific Salmon Steaks
WILD RICE
Ingredients:
- One cup Will Rice, rinsed well- not soaked
- 3 cups of water ( or vegetable/chicken stock)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Place will rice, water ( or stock), and salt in a saucepan with acid over medium high heat
- Put the lid on and bring to a boil. Turn the heat down on low and let it simmer for 40-45 minuets . You will know that it is cooked when some of the kernels are burst open
- Drain excess liquid and serve
PACIFIC WILD SALMON
Ingredients:
- 4-5 pieces of Salmon Steaks (depending on how many to feed)
- teaspoon (or more to taste) of paprika
- teaspoon (or more to taste) of dill
- teaspoon (or more to taste) of salt and black pepper
- teaspoon (or more to taste) of onion powder, garlic powder
- couple of sprinkles of Old Bay Seasoning
- a table spoon of honey
- table spoon of olive oil
Instructions
- Place your salmon steak on a cooking tray lined with tinfoil and drizzle some olive oil all over on both sides.
- Sprinkle the rest of the ingredients all over
- Bake in oven for 30 min or so on 350 F
- Serve and enjoy!
